Oh jeez guys. UPS just transferred it to USPS to actually deliver it. FML. USPS is the worst.

ProductFREDIt's the damn UPS SurePost. I'm in Hawaii and they do the transfer to USPS in California, and for some reason the transfer takes 1-2 days. Then it sits in USPS post office in CA for up to a week before it moves again. I've once paid the $3.50 upgrade fee to UPS Ground. It still took them 2-3 days in CA to re-route it back into their system.
If you are wondering how I upgraded, it's a feature of the UPS MyChoice account on the UPS website. It lets you register your address and it will then alert you of incoming deliveries. If it is a SurePost delivery they send you an email with a link to upgrade the delivery to UPS Ground.
I actually prefer USPS. Flat rate boxes are awesome. The smaller items I've gotten on MassDrop have been sent USPS. I got them in 2-3 days. Our local postal delivery people are great.

manapuaSo if it's been transferred to USPS, tracking for ups is null at this point yeah? And if so, is there a way we can get USPS tracking? I'm assuming not. Damn, and I was really hoping to get it this week too :|

HammerThymeYou don't have a tracking number for USPS when it changes hands, but the UPS site still told me when it was going to be delivered after a while. Like it actually gave me a date and had a countdown until delivery day. Keep checking every few hours.

HammerThymeIt will eventually list a USPS tracking number in the additional information section at the bottom of the UPS tracking page. Mine already has a USPS tracking number but has not even been transferred yet,
