It’s nearly silent and nicely made. Very happy I got the model with storage. I like watching them slowly turn behind the display glass. Didn’t think a winder was important to me but it’s really made switching out watches easy and fun too. I’m glad I managed to get the model I wanted at a reasonable price. Shipping was accurately estimated as well. Thumbs up!
Wow. Love the quality and the price. From the moment you open the box, you realize this is a great product. I bought 2 single winders and they are very quiet. I’m using the ac power, however, based on the wolf website, the batteries (2 D-cell) each will last about 4 months.
Lovely build quality, quiet as can be. Definitely does the job it’s meant to and the packaging was impeccable, a real masterclass in unboxing experience. Mine arrived with the lid slightly askew, however (the latch isn’t perfectly centered, which messes with the hinge geometry when it’s closed). Not a major deal, but time will tell if it affects anything long term. Funny enough, I submitted a warranty request to Wolf about it and they never got back to me. So there’s that.
The box is amazing and exactly what I needed. The direction option is key, the one I had prior did not have that. It looks well made and wild is a killer company. I will be ordering another one when they are available.
Overall a great price for a quality piece of Wolf kit, but mine arrived with only two of the three winners working and therefore had to return. Tried contacting Wolf as should be under warranty but no interest from them to help.
Initially was very quiet, now at 1 year out two of the motors are very noisy to the extent that I have moved it out of the area where people are to a less busy part of the house because the racket that the triple winder makes is a conversation stopper. As a contrast the quad Wolf winder has I own has been whisper quiet for 3 years. Not likely to purchase another Wolf winder based on this negative experience.
Not sure what I was expecting but at the price I figured the materials might be a bit better in quality? Guess thats the difference between the $281 option and the $1000 options...
Not only does the winder not operate but Wolf apparently doesn't have functioning customer service. I called the number they provide and it goes to a recording that offers no option for service other than if you already know someone's extension number. Lacking that I tried dialing 0 at which the recording says that mail box is full and is not accepting new messages.
This is the second time I have bought a Wolf winder and it is the second one that has not worked. The only conclusion I can draw is that the quality control on these devices is very poor and Drop probably shouldn't sell them.
Received mine with the glass complettly broken and only one winder works. The other is broken.
Drop proposed me 20$ refund to keep this useless box.
I asked to send it
