A quick update for you all. We have been in touch with the vendor and they've let us know that they are nearly finished packaging up the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. As fulfillment has taken slightly longer than expected, we will make sure to prioritize the shipment as soon as it is en route and received by our warehouse team. Rest assured, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and pass along any new updates along the way.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 6/19 or sooner if something comes up.

Woodlore does not seem to have a good reputation on Amazon, several express disappointment in the build quality of the shoe valets.

But it's not the same product, so report back to us you brave retail adventurers!

krszI presume you are aware that there was a drop for the Wordlore shoe valet. I do not see any negative reviews attached to that drop. (In the interest of transparency I was in on the drop.)
How is cherry picking a 3/5 star review of another product fair when the average review of that same shoe valet 4/5 stars, and 75% of those reviews are 4 and 5? How do you come to the conclusion that, "Woodlore does not seem to have a good reputation on Amazon" from that? Further if one was so inclined one could cherry pick the last three reviews on Amazon for the Kiwi shoe valet which are 1 star. The distribution of reviews for the Kiwi shoe valet is almost identical. Does Kiwi seem not, "to have a good reputation on Amazon"?

Why is shipping almost a third of the price?

albieIt's big and heavy! We try to be honest with our shipping prices - it's a lot easier to offer free shipping or flat rate shipping when you're marking something up significantly. Since our margins are very small we can rarely do that. At the end of the day, shipping things is very expensive, and since we often don't have the margins to roll it into our cost that means you're looking at the actual shipping price.
FWIW, Woodlore charges $15 in shipping for this at MSRP.

A-ha! That's my mistake! I was looking at the tie only hanger. Thanks for clearing that up.
