Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. ...well the circuitry might not be in the same league but I am loving the X3. Supports all my HD music, the sound quality is good enough that I can barely feel any difference with the pono and it can drive my Fostex mk IIIs!
I love the fact that it has actual physical tactile controls! No more getting the player out activating the screen in mid sunlight and fumbling with touch controls, no more finger prints on the screen also.
Being almost forty the design and simplicity reminds me of the time when mp3 players were curious gadgets not yet reaching maturity and that is one of the things I have liked the most.
Peter Gabriel, Tori Amos, Pink floyd, Oasis... they all sound amazing, yes I would recommend it to a pal.
A happy customer.
