Who committed to just one? I see 5 units committed. Does everyone understand the drop is good for only a single monitor, you'll need to order quantity : 2

AbombKThese are actively powered (AC power outlet required for each speaker). The power to the speaker is independent of audio source. You do not want to send amplified signal to these babies, send either balanced (TRS 1/4") or balanced (XLR) line level signal and let the speaker itself do the amplification. In my setup, I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Audio interface, which includes multiple line outs, one pair dedicated for monitors. I then use balanced (TRS) 1/4" cables to the 1/4" inputs on my current active monitors. I'm a believer of knowing all of your gear backward and forward before ever plugging it in.
