So on an interesting note if you're looking for an affordable pairing with the AKG K7XX, the Massdrop buyer currently using the office pair picked up the Yulong U100 to go with it.

Danny_LiuNice! Is the Yulong U100 Mac-friendly? I have heard they may not work on the 2011 (late) Macbook Pro's. I'm hoping it will.

Errolord_404This should not have a problem powering the K7xx. You'll be solid with this amp.

charles_dunkinI have paired this dac/amp with the k712 and disliked it so much I sold both the k712 and U100. I have now come around the k712 but the U100 will always be on my shit list. For me there was no advantage vs. plugging it directly into my PC..
