A little off topic, but does anyone know what LEDs are used on this board and where to get them? I have been searching for rear mount individually addressable RGBs but can't seem to find them anywhere.

KiraUsagiI think these are 'simple' RGB packages without their own, in-package controllers. It looks like the switch LEDs are managed by at least two LED controller chips on this board.
The nearest match I've found so far are these: http://www.sunledusa.com/products/spec/XZMDKCBDDG45S-9.pdf

KalliumThose are them! I had searched so hard for these little buggers. Thanks a million for the link. :)

KiraUsagiGood to hear. They just look like block-ish, rectangular, smt, rgbs with their leads unfolded into a gull-wing shape. Also, there is an alternative design described in the following URL which works with smt LEDs that don't have gull-wing leads. http://imgur.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/6Pj2D However, I wonder if that design tolerates mechanical stress on the PCB as well as the gull-wing components. I'd worry that the solder joints would be more prone to cracking.
