SpagootGuess you are not too familiar with collectibles.. These have been out of print for close to 10 years and thus the cost to produce them 10 years ago is pretty irrelevant. They are extremely rare and popular making them valuable. I assume you would have the same thing to say about the Mickey Mantle Baseball card that recently sold for $2.8 million dollars. That probably only cost less than a penny to manufacter

Still better than market price, unfortunately you could buy this from friends or on ebay for a whole lot cheaper, worth the risk of repacks tbh.

stungaI wish eBay was cheaper. I don't see any lower than 460 and those at that range are foreign boxes. But yeah, it's definitely not a deal.

I looked into this one. Now if you were to sell every single card in this set, you'd at least make your money back. That's including ever 10-25 cent common cards. If you were lucky enough to get a few expensive cards, that would be a bonus. But the better cards in this set are between $10-25. There are no huge hits in this set. So for someone just collecting there is no point. Just order the single cards you want. For someone trying to resell it, you're in for an insane amount of work just to make your money back. And forget reselling packs for quadruple the price, people don't buy those anymore.

Jgreening89It's because this is sealed product that is not printed anymore and there are many valuable cards in this set. The current market price for this box is a little over $500 right now.

I think this is one reason they might be so much? I actually thought for 2 seconds about buying a box for this reason, but I will pass at this price; could almost buy a mox myself.

Zandoand your point? They didn't do waves and waves like they are now and there's literally no way to differentiate first print run from any other. So the re is still a probability this box contains power.
