I have the non-blackwash version of this knife and the flip is so smooth (cue Carlos Santana…). When I bought it, I didn’t realize how large it would be, so I haven’t used it much. Now that I’ve been living with a PM2 for a while, I’ll need to revisit it.
I have several ZT knives and their KVT pivots completely turned me away from assisted opening systems (like SpeedSafe). :-)

awkWell said, I totally agree with you. I never really liked the Speedsafe and since I've got the 0562CF, such a 'assist' is definitely a deal breaker.
