Made from three layers of forged steel, these kitchen knives are tough as nails. The core is made from VG-10: a high-carbon content steel from Japan Read More
Thin and slicy, comes very sharp. Overall great quality for the price. I've had mine for > 1 year without any issues. However, as with any knife, you should take good care of it. Of course it's not going to have the durability of a victornux with a TPE handle. But it will perform better and look much nicer.
These knives look great and they perform decently enough for the price.
They don't have great edge retention and they scratch REALLY easily.
Like don't use the rough side of your sponge on these because they will scratch up really easily.
Like I'm not upset with it for what I paid but I would not buy these again.
It's a great knife, it has a good grip to it and a perfect weight in my opinion.
But I'm pretty disappointed in how fast it loses its sharpness.
I shardened it again with a whetstone, but it, again, lost it's sharpness in only 2-3 weeks.
Good steel and construction, was a little disappointed in the factory edge, but ran it through the last two belts on my work sharp and they are now mirror fine razors
The build quality, especially for the price, is very good. I purchased the 3.5" paring and 4.5" utility knives. However, the factory edge on these knives were a bit disappointing. After stropping the knives, the sharpness became adequate. Perhaps giving the knives a good sharpening will show their true potential. For the price, these are very good values for VG10 steel knives.
Nice steel and overall very nice knife. Handle with pakka not the nicest quality I’ve ever seen, small imperfections only slightly noticeable with handle.
