HuntI actually prefer a merino blend. Pure merino shirts are fine for everyday use, but they tend to fall apart under duress - like a shirt under your backpack shoulder straps, or underwear that is constantly being rubbed when you walk. Your shirt is nylon corespun, which means that the merino threads wrap completely around the nylon thread, so you're only touching merino but have the added durability of nylon. Hope this helps @Hunt

HuntAlso, use caution when washing any merino apparel. Take care to fully zip up any zippers on other clothing in the laundry so that the metal zipper teeth don't snag your wool clothing.
