I'd be very interested in a Sage 5 with upgraded steel, especially S35VN or M390.
Sage 5 for sure
The titanium M4 Military must be made. I will take 3. It's hands down one of the best edc's out there and M4 steel is absolutely amazing, I like it better than 110v by a mile... so easy to sharpen to a crazy razor edge! And it holds it! Please make this happen :)
A Spyderco Cat in a funky steel (H1) would be a nice change of pace.
How about an all black, CF scaled, PM2 with Combination edge??
I have 4 PM2's - it's my favorite knife for a lot of reasons - also Spyderco has fantastic ergonomics on their products, provided you're right-handed - but the G10 is rough on the hand when you reach into your pocket. I'd love to see a titanium frame, but as jbhildeb mentioned, a carbon fiber would work for that purpose as well. Yes, I could sand a G10handle to make it smother, but I have a titanium Chaparral and the Sage 2 that solves the pocket/hand issue: I'm just wishing here :)
Please add carbon fiber handle as option/upgrade for whichever design is chosen!!!!
Massdrop is always doing something with Spyderco it seems like. They should do a collaboration with them. Massdrop x Spyderco PMx perhap...
Vote for the Para 3 sprint!
Domino?
PM2 in ZDP-189 with G10/CF scales like the Sage 1? Alas, we can all wish...
It would be awesome to get the pm2 with Damascus steel and a anodized titanium for the liner and moon glow for the scales.
Judging from what I've seen out there, this would be a high demand and have some great resale and swap value.
I'm on board with the PM2 and Military. I'd like to see something new such as a PM2 with a CF side and a Ti side and Maxamet.
A Military 2 with CF scales and S90v or such would be instant Grail.
As a different drop how about a run of custom scales from Cuscardi or Blade Scales
I have been holding off on buying a PM2 until this is done, I am new here, and I really don't understand how it all works. I would like to see some 2 tone G10 grips, blue and neon green, purple and black, something different. I don't really know enough about steel, but I would perfer satin finish, I just never cared for black coated.

After the poll is closed, Massdrop may or may not pick this up for a future drop. Say they pick it up, they will still need to approach Spyderco with a proposal, and Spyderco still has to accept. Then Massdrop will come back with some options, perhaps another poll, then when all is said and done, the real drop can happen.
So right now, this poll is a "wish" poll; if you really are itching for a PM2, you could wait a long long time here, since there are lots of "maybe" and "perhaps" involved...
(the more people vote, the more the future drop has a chance to exist, so advertise it as much as you can)

Thanks, I am going to go ahead and buy a PM2, hopefully this all comes to fruition, I would like to see what they could come up with, and I can always buy more, you can never have to many nice knifes
Although this will be a landslide for the pm2 (most things are, since it's probably the consensus choice for Best Folding Knife Ever) let's keep voting and publicising this. A decisive poll with ~100 voters doesn't mean much, you know?
Also sometimes the manufacturer doesn't want to do the model that comes first in the poll, or won't offer a sufficiently attractive price for Massdrop to agree, or something else prevents the top poll option being dropped. It's important to have clear other options available.
How about we think more broadly? What are your fave recent Spyderco knives? In Spyderco's 2016 mid-year I especially like "Advocate" and "Sustain" personally. I don't think that there's room for an exclusive Sustain (smaller market for fixed blades, no other really compelling handle options, hard to beat CPM 20CV in a knife of that size without unacceptable costs) but an Advocate with G10 handles could turn out REALLY nice. Almost like a traditional look, ala Spyderco Hungarian - not even a stainless steel blade, we're talking real basic at first glance - but then beneath that it's a Spyderco M4 thrust-bearings flipper.
Any other ideas?

Personally I'm thinking of something that hasn't been released yet. The pm3/minuteman which is just a smaller pm2. That is coming out later this year or in 2017 I believe, and I strongly think the base model and any sprints will do great.
I see where you're going with a g-10 advocate, but I fear that a major selling point of the advocate is the unique orange peel textured titanium, and I have no Idea if it can be replicated on g-10. If that rounded bumpy pattern can be put on g-10, that is a great idea, especially considering it would cost less.
