It'd be nice to request this in copper of its ever offered. I know Jason makes these in copper as I've seen them on another site. So it is possible.

As far as I know, it's a relatively new thing (or at least it recently became much more popular): people carry "pocket tops" in their EDC setups. I know that I heard about those tops on EDC/gear oriented channels on Youtube (first Jim Skelton, then CutleryLover and Nick Shabazz) so I'm guessing that this community of EDC gear enthusiasts are becoming aware of these tops, hence top drops are showing up in the EDC community; it's because to a lot of people now it's not just a toy you keep at home: it's something you keep in your pocket and carry every day, along with the rest of your EDC gear. If you look at the way massdrop organizes things, it's not in categories, it's in communities: people in the EDC community like tops and lockpicks and laser pointers so you get drops for those items in that comminity even if maybe they're not categorized as EDC gear.
Can I ask why people keep posting tops to Everyday Carry when there is clearly a Hobby Shop community that these should be posted to? Especially considering that there are already top drops available on the Hobby Shop page?
Would it be too much to ask that the content posted to Everyday Carry be that which actually belongs in the community?

I could be wrong here but also another reason is that these tops get buried in the hobby section by card games. 99% of the hobby section seems to be card games. I I subscribed to this section for that reason. It clogs up the drop listings. Also as aubreal stated the edc community has generally added this to their everyday carry as sort of a staple...hence them showing up here. There is some crossing between sections such as pens in edc when there is a whole section actually set up for pens (along with paper of course).
