I was on the drop in July 2016 for this unit. I'm in the UK. It was OK for a few years until I started suffering the volume problem that people are talking about. I lived with it for quite a while until it drove me nuts and I had to replace the unit. (I wasn't going to endure the postage and customs mayhem of returning this to the USA) I'm trying to talk with ServiceCentre to see if they know of the fix and whether it's something I can do myself. Maybe a pot issue... I hope. This is a shame as apart from this it's been a nice sounding unit, driven by optical and line in, in my case and used to drive a pair of older Castle bookshelf speakers. The headphone jack also started causing problems though towards the end. Personally, I would avoid this unit and seek an alternative.
