SayexWell...It varies from day to day depending on my mood. Hence the "another set" qualifier. Let's say swapping with Creative Aurvana. I'm also using a Fiio E11K on my mobile setup and I'd probably pair these with that.

HeeftyIts a very different sound signature from the aurvana.
The Aurvana has more bass than the AKG, and its not as clear. The soundstage is narrower too. They are fragile in comparison, but they are more comfortable and not as bulky.
I would say the AKG has a very neutral sound and are meant to be for indoor use, because of the long cable and semiopen design. But i did use them for 2 years as my everyday & everywhere headphones.
