AKRacing and Drop came through
Bought this for my son, who is a very big boy and who gained about 50 pounds in two years. Finally, after constant use, the base cracked and bent badly. He was heart-broken because he really loved the chair. After a couple of e-mails to Drop and AKRacing, it looked like the request for a new base was going nowhere and I bought a new XL one for him, but kept the chair because I still held out some hope, maybe find a beat up garage sale chair with a good base. Next thing, I get a confirmation the new base is on its way! I love a good warranty properly honored! Couple days later it arrived and it is better than the first, nicely reinforced. Took a few hours to bang the old base out (ended up having to hacksaw the sucker) but finally got it and the wife now has an awesome, fully adjustable gaming chair for her COVID work at home office. And it really does look like new, which is amazing given all the hours its been used.
