Yes, we've tested with everything from credit card size ballpoints to beefy fountain pens.

I understand the 6 pen is $10 more but why add $20 ($10 option plus the price is $10 higher)

Also, there is no option to choose fold/unfold cover for pens in order form.

Can someone give me an idea of how thick the diameter of the 4 & 6 pen is when filled and rolled up? There are some photos posted to a previous question on this but no dimensions given. I understand it will vary, depending on the pens you have, but a rough range would really help me know if it’s going to fit where I want to stow it.

gimpsterIt's big. The 6 pen roll is about 7-8 inches in diameter depending on how I get the pens to nest together. I don't take this anywhere, it's too big. Got it off eBay for a great price. The leather is very nice.

calmonteCool, thanks for the reply. I was worried about that, but the photos made it hard to get a sense of the scale. It looks really nice and I like handmade goods like this, but I need something a bit more compact and portable.
