Love these shoes. Everyone says to upsize by one. I think this is based on the shape of the toe box and feet are just shaped different. I have been finding a good fit with 10s in most shoes (1/2 size up from my traditional 9 1/2). These fit me with a 10 even though it's a bit short for one of my toes. Take a look at the shape of the footbed and decide how that's going to compare to your foot shape and go from there. Vague advice, I'm sorry, but hopefully it's helpful.

I went a size and a half up and there perfect. I used to wear the ultra lone peak 3.5's but these have a higher ankle and more cushion. So much more cumfortable.

I got these primarily for hiking and use Lone Peaks for trail running. I like the extra cushioning of the Timps when on rocks or roads. Wasn't sure if I'd like the offset tongue of the Timps but so far so good. The sole of the Timps seems to be better on slick surfaces and very comfortable to wear. The size runs small IMO , I'm a full size larger in Timps and Lone Peaks

Love these shoes. They are roomy in the toe box, and form fitting everywhere else, which is great for long backpacking or running days i wear them everywhere, from daily trail runs to hikes, to a 110 mile trip around Mt.Blanc They’re not waterproof, but even here in the soggy Pacific Northwest, they’re still great for our trails (just get 2 pairs to swap out between runs ) only beef is is I wish the laces were about 2 inches longer (that seems to be a trend )

An excellent walking/running shoe. Having read the comments by others that had bought this shoe before I did I was really pleased that I bought a size larger (12.5 instead of 12). This gave me a perfect fit.

These are great shoes, very comfortable. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis and the Zero Drop Altra’s Are the only shoes I can hikeand run in now. I monitor Mass Drop now for them to be offered. Great value!

Used the LonePeaks on AT thru hike and loved ‘em but trying these out as they have a little more padding. Good fit and good grip. First few walks took some getting used to the curved lace channel. (When looked down it gave the appearance of being pigeon toed. Strange) Like em—another fine product from Altra

Always happy with Altra! Great fit and super comfortable. This is my fourth pair and I’ve never had any issues with them. Great for wide feet

They’re very comfortable and the zero drop was easy to adjust to.
