I have been lusting after a pair of these for years, but the price just isn't quite right. Still really sad that Phonak got out of the IEM game. I still consider my PFE 122's to be the best bang for the buck of any audio product I've ever purchased. It's really quite hard for me to criticize anything about it's sound signature.

kelchmİ bought pfe 012 for 100$ 3 years ago and tought it was bang for buck . 2 years ago i bought pfe232 from ebay for 250$ new which was extremely good deal. Then i bought another 012 for 35 $ this summer. İ got really luck for phonak earphones. İ broke one of the cables tho and send an email for the replacement and they just said that they discontinued and cant support, so the customer service really sux for the high end 600$ earphone like this i was dissappointed.

OnurIt's probably the #1 reason I would skip out on this drop. Discontinued and Phonak going poof means it will be very difficult to get any replacement parts. After reading about the FLC8 I will consider going that route instead.

Onuri was an idiot. in 2013 the PFE 232 was on clearance for around $250 i happen to be travelling so for quite a few months. so for whatever reason, i totally missed the announcement Phonark is quitting the consumer headphones business, took the sale as a sign the new models are coming up, and decided to wait. Now I want to to kick myself whenever the rare stock shows up :(
