Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The short story of their rage is that they overcharge for their sound quality.
To answer your question, chances are you will notice a difference because of the fact that intergrated sound chips (especially on laptops) tend to be of very poor quality. So, you'll likely notice a change. How much of a change? I wouldn't know. $169 dollars worth of change? I wouldn't know.
You wouldn't want to use them with the Bose QC3 when you have the noise cancelling active because the headphones have a built-in amp already and you would be double amping. However, if say your QC3s run out of batteries and can be used passively still, then this amp/DAC would be useful. But double check to make sure the QC3 can be used passively.
