Specs here say Sapphire Crystal, however everywhere else I check says Mineral Crystal. Which is it?

ibgpAnother incorrect MD description (happens frequently around here and is kind of what they are becoming known for, unfortunately). There is no way it actually has a sapphire crystal for a $79 watch. Most watches that have a sapphire crystal are about $100 higher than one that doesn't. Oh, and good luck getting them to respond or correct the description since they don't 95% of the time.

So just received my AVI-8 Hawker Harrier II Quartz Watch. The first AVI-8 I ordered from MD about a year ago came broken and after a lot of hassle, managed to get my money back. I opened the new AVI and IT IS DEAD, DOESN'T RUN, BROKEN WATCH!!!!! I'm not even going to go about trying to get my money or a working watch from MassDrop, as it was such a pain in the rear last time. I, however, will be ordering nothing more from AVI or Spinnaker or any of the other companies they go by in the marketplace. I may quit purchasing from MassDrop altogether, as this is unacceptable to have defective merchandise shipped out. Oh, case back on the watch is all scratched up as well, so I'm not sure this was a "new" watch. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH AVI-8 AND MASSDROP.

AudogAll I've ever had to do, to get multiple returns from MD, is write their customer support with a description of the problem, I can't imagine what you found so difficult about it, same process as most anywhere else, other than Amazon or Walmart with 1 click no explanation returns... I guess that's what you were looking for?

And 24 hours after contacting the helpdesk, I've received nothing but an email informing me that the "specialized team" that will help me, is only open Monday through Friday. Not what I would consider a great first experience.

I have to admit, as my first ever Massdrop purchase, I'm a little disappointed. The watch won't stay running. If I move the hands manually, it will run for a few minutes, but soon thereafter stops. I need to research the return policy.

I bought like 3 straight avi-8 automatic watches on blinq, and all 3 had a bent minute hand that rubbed or hung up on the hour or second hand. If you buy one of these, then return it, Massdrop then sends it to Blinq, apparently even if there is something wrong with it...nice looking watches too bad they are so poorly QC'd
