jedi5diahA basic Schiit stack will do it. There is a SMSL dac/amp drop going on too, which should get you some decent volume.
I thought I'd add: I had the DT990 600's. I purchased them from Amazon. Returned them as the treble almost murdered me. Police said I couldn't press charges against headphones. *sigh* These are paradigm of bright sounding headphones, against which all others should be measured.

ElnrikYup, this is why I settled for the DT880 600Ohms instead a year back. Doesn't have the all-black look, but the sound I want is there. Still rocking them with Schiit Magni 2 Uber + SMSL M8 as I feel it is sufficient. Maybe one day I'll feel the itch to try out some tube amps.
