I like the look a lot
It’s not perfect but I love the blade shape! It’s sharp, super thin and light. It’s one of my few front flippers. The centering is off a little bit and the action is a little stiff but all and all, a pretty cool, very nice looking knife.

After having carried this knife for about a year now here are my thoughts on it: Initially I wasn't too impressed as the blade centering wasn't all that great on the one I received however after taking it apart and reassembling that problem is solved. While at it I also changed the clip from tip down to tip up carry. While this is a generally a preference of mine it has the added benefit of providing a bit more to grip onto while using the front flipper in a "lighter style". Otherwise the handle is a little slim to get a good enough grip. Repositioning the clip proved to be a bit annoying because of the quite small and easily stripped phillips head screws that were used, but after doing so it is a great clip that's not quite, but almost deep carry and has a good tension. It's not too tight to easily use and not too loose to lose the knife. These two issues are the only ones I have so far. The materials are great and make for a really solid knife. The S35VN blade stays sharp seemingly forever despite seeing use. The titanium handle got a few minor surface scratches, but that's to be expected considering I usually have my car keys in the same pocket. It's not a knife that will drop shut, but then again the blade is really slim and light and. The Exkelibur also runs on teflon washers and not on bearings which doesn't help in this regard. The overall action is really nice though. I really love the slim design that let's you almost forget the knife is in your pocket. I also really like the blade shape that is useful for a variety of uses while also being very unoffensive to non knife people despite being 3.5 inches long. The handle is very slim as mentioned above, but still nice to hold while using the knive.

bought a long time ago but only got around to reviewing now. screws and pocket clip are extremely soft metal; stripped one of the pocket clip screws trying to reposition it for the first time. lock stick never went away after six months, either. this is my second poor qc experience from boker's plus line. premium prices on a product using pop can metal for screws.

Nice and slim, poor QC
Really slim in the pocket. Cuts well. Front slipper is nice once you get used to it. However the clip isn’t too great and on mine the blade grind is uneven.

nice design, poor execution
this knife is basically a 3.5", Boker-produced version of trevor burger's EXK customs, which are fantastic. the design is great, the blade shape is iconic, the front flipper is easy to actuate if you're used to front flippers and only takes a little practice to learn if you aren't. the grind on the one i got was nice and even, and fairly slicey for such a large knife. the critical weakness was the clip. mine shipped in the generally less popular tip-down configuration so i assume they probably all do. the screws holding the clip on are phillips head (warning sign number one-- no Torx) and despite using a nice high quality driver and being very careful, the screw heads immediately cracked and stripped out with even moderate pressure, rendering the clip permanently attached in the less than ideal tip-down configuration and, indeed, rendering the knife completely unable to be disassembled, since the clip mounting point covers the pivot screw. major bummer. fortunately, customer service took great care of me and gave me a refund, but buyer beware. it could be a fantastic lightweight edc knife for you... as long as you like tip-down carry, and never need or want to disassemble it to clean and lubricate the pivot. i don't fit that description on either count, so it was certainly wrong for me. shouts to drop for making it right in the end, though. with T8 or larger screws everywhere and a better designed clip this could be a much, much better knife than it is currently.

Cf model. It's a great knife. Action is better than it has any right to be, and the tall somewhat hollow grind and excellent shape makes for a fantastic blade. Nice and thin is good for the pocket but still is wide enough to fill the hand nicely This is the knife that started my love of front flippers.

The wood handle Damascus model gets a lot of compliments , and the knife has held up well to it's EDC usage.
