The Pangean Collection of outdoor folding chairs and tables by Byer of Maine is handcrafted in the central highlands of Vietnam, an area with a history of producing quality furniture. The pieces in this collection are made with strong and durable kiln-dried eucalyptus grandis wood that’s indigenous to Southeast Asia. The natural brown wood has been coated with an oil finish designed to resist moisture. The lounger, glider, and campaign chair have features made from 100-percent polyester duck cloth.
Note: This drop’s base price is for the lounger or the folding table. Or, opt for the glider in green, natural, or volcano (+ $35), the campaign chair (+ $35), or the campaign roll-top table (+ $75). This drop has limited quantities available.
Founded in 1880 by a Russian immigrant family in Bangor, Maine, Byer of Maine originally produced slippers and textile products. In 1925, the company relocated to Orono, and over the next few decades began making wood-frame folding cots and canvas products for soldiers in World War II and the Korean War. Today, inspired by travels and trade relationships, Byer of Maine offers a full line of hammocks, hanging chairs, cots, stools, and other camp furniture from around the world.
