PackdemonI am currently using it on my Samsung S7 Edge. To me, it works awesome. I don't have very much experience with how different amps sound, but it sounds three times better than being plugged straight to the phone. The pair of headphones I use, are Status Audio. It uses up power somewhat quickly though. I sit at a desk at work and I set the phone on a wireless charger and I plug the dacport into the phone via a micro usb to micro usb cable. It stays ahead of the power draw okay. The only problem I have had so far, is with the quality of the cable to connect the device to my phone. I've been buying cheap ones off of Amazon. If the connection is too crappy, the driver fails and the phone pauses the music. Chances are, my next phone will have a USB-C charging port, so I'll probably wait to buy a nice cable.

PackdemonIt just has a high current draw. My HTC One M9 doesn't power it unless I have external power going in as well. But an older Galaxy S3 was plug and play. Your phone probably just can't handle the current output.

SomeTechNoobMy phone can handle the Dacport classic for some reason, but not the Dacport slim. I thought they had the name power draw.
