I am very disappointed in this product it's flimsy and the poles fall out of their casing too easily. The fabric isn't very sticky so pieces fall off. I had much more sucess tapibg a piece of batting to my wall. I would not recommend it. Sorry to say as I was excited to purchase it.

I have had a Cheryl Ann Design Wall for years; bought it at a big quilt show. It is flimsy keeps coming apart at the corners and just isn't worth the price. It's also not the caliber of things Massdrop usually features. Save your money on this one; you can have one made (if you are handy or have a handy friend) with regular PVC pipe and good quality flannel. The only thing I see as a positive about this product is that it is light and can be transported if need be.

I agree to the importance of portability. That being said, I have had it up, kitty corner, on a brick hearth leaning against a freestanding fireplace for the summer. It doesn't have the tripod-feet attachments. It just leans against that corner and has never fallen down or come apart.

SandyOI think you received a defective product. I've had mine for years but just ordered a small one to use as a display for teaching purposes and to place on my desktop. When adding the corners, I found that if you stretch the cord up and then pull down on the outside then add the corner clip, the clip has something extra to grab on to. I'm sorry the product didn't work for you.

My design wall arrived at the beginning of the week. I found it easy to follow the assembly directions, but a bit awkward doing it alone on 72x72 size wall. It worked though. The flannel is tight once the unit is assembled and fabric blocks stick just fine, even the rows I sewed together stuck on the fabric reliably. However, after only 4 days of use when moving the design wall, one of the clips that hook on to the frame broke. Very upsetting considering you must buy a set of 6 at $13.10 from the website to get a replacement. It's supposed to be moveable, but I say proceed with great caution, and if you can, take off the bracing poles and support part before you move it. These parts can't stand up to torque. Otherwise, I am glad I bought this wall. Such an improvement over laying blocks out on my bed. Update on 2/20/2018: Here it is nearly one month later, and I have no response from the vendor beyond the automated receipt generated by Paypal. I emailed them at the email address on their receipt on February 2, 2018 and have no response from that. On February 18, 2018 I sent another email to the address on their website. Crickets. I am beyond furious with this company. I will next resort to other means to preserve my UCC rights. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I still have not had any response to receiving a defective product from this drop. I'm trying to stay positive, but after 4 business days, I haven't even received a confirmation that my message has reached an associate with Massdrop. I'm very disappointed.

Thank you Sandy for following up for me. I haven't received any messages from the Customer Support team. I check spam mail and did a search for ALL Massdrop emails. I have emails for new drops, even notification of your reply and of someone following me on Massdrop. Does the email have "massdrop" included? I have attached a copy of my search results.

TeaquiltsThanks Massdrop for responding to my message. The problem was that any message sent from "support" did not reach my email that I signed up with Massdorop. That was very weird. I asked them to send to a secondary email and I received the message just fine. I did receive full reimbursement for the item after I returned it free shipping on my side.

Just pointing this out, it is cheaper on Amazon with the option of free shipping with Prime. Even if the lowest price is unlocked, after you add shipping, it's still $5 more than what is seen on Amazon. When do you expect to ship Cheryl's Design Wall? The thread of comments all point to you receiving the product and had an expected ship date of 4/29. Today is May 22-

Those comments are for the previous drop. You can always find the estimated ship date at the bottom of the drop page. For this one, the date is 6/10. Hope that helps!

It is supposed to be a Xmas present but I may just use it early. I have researched this item before and was very happy to see it on MassDrop. For those of us with limited space it is the best solution. I have tried the sheets of insulation held together with duck tape. You can take them apart for storage but that still gives you four pieces of 4x4 to do something with when not in use. Plus there is the question of support while working with them. It is a big headache to say the least. I look forward to receiving my design wall and know it will be so much better to work with. Thank you.

LogLadyI've been quilting for 0ver 20 years and never had a design wall. It's been trips to the floor and screwing up the arrangement repeatedly and then ripping and ripping to get it the way I want. This is my Mother's Day/birthday gift. He never knows what to buy so I've solved his issue. Yeah!

Love this idea- can it be hung on a wall? I love the portability but at times would want to have it on a wall, too. Thoughts?

jamiebourgeoisThat's an interesting idea! I've heard of people using large 3M Command hooks to hang just the flannel and frame on the wall. You could also just put one pole through the top sleeve and hang that from hooks. It won't be taut, but it would be very lightweight.
