Nothing like Copper
Love the Copper, has a nice weight to it. Nothing else compares to the feeling. First thing was a Forced Patina. Brings it to a totally new dimension, Light Machine marks add a nice touch too. Overall I really enjoy everything about the Knife & dollar for dollar the small amount you spend its definitely worth it.

Great Budget Knife!
My first copper knife. I bought this to try out whether copper was worth the hype, and this was a great budget option for that purpose. The action is great, the handle fits in my XL sized hands, the blade is slicey and has a very cool shape that you don't see everyday. My only complaint is that there are milling lines all over the copper scales, however I knew about that before I bought it, and for the price i'm willing to live with that. Overall a fantastic budget knife.

The good: Well made. Heavy, but well balanced for it. Smooth action, very smooth in fact. Reversible clip, lanyard aperture in the backspacer. Nicely minimal blade markings. Materials and fit are there in spades.
search

The okay: The copper scales were milled with two steps on top and bottom, and were somewhat brutally done in that you can still see the machine marks.

It combines with the stonewash in a kinda weird way in that the stonewash didn't get into the step grooves even though they're 90 degree angles, so the machining in the groove remains very high albedo.
search
The overall effect isn't TERRIBLE because there's an interesting range of textures that do contrast against each other, but I think if I tried it and got this effect, I'd use a finer medium to stonewash it. Seems less sprezzatura and more slapdash. No stars deducted, but still, just ok. Also I'm not sure how I like the way the screws stick up a bit from the surface:
search
The bad: The flipper tab is rounded and smooth. Too smooth. Needs something there for traction. You've got all this machining on the scale, jimp the tab and spine.

If I could give four and a half stars I would, but these things when taken together all mean it's not quite a five star knife. Four stars seems stingy, but there's nothing else for it.

Great EDC
This probably the sharpest knife I’ve ever had out of the box. Some said it was heavy but I’m a huge fan of heavier knives, this way I can feel it in my hand and not feel as if it’ll break when I use it. The copper on this patinas really well and evenly. I might be a little bias about anything copper, being a plumber and all, but I’m a huge fan of this knife.

Workman's knife par excellence!
The CJRB Barranca D2 is a perfect multitasking EDC. Mine is used primarily for opening packaging and the sheepsfoot blade well suited to the task. The knife itself has good heft without feeling heavy and the thick blade inspires confidence when putting it under pressure. The action is smooth and the knife opens with ease. My only complaint is that the liner lock tab is a bit small and takes some getting used to. It is by no means a deal breaker. Buy one, you'll like it.

Well made - just better to look at than to carry
This is a beautiful knife, well-made and with a razor sharp blade out of the box. I wish I'd gone G10 instead of copper because it feel like I'm carrying a car battery in my pocket. I'm not opposed to big knives - I have bigger knives than this that I carry - but nothing this heavy. I can't fault the knife, I'll just likely never carry it.

Impracticable, but worth it!
I love this knife for what it is. I bought it with the copper handle because that handle is gorgeous. The blade profile is kinda bulky, the action is pretty stiff, and this thing is HEAVY. But, it came sharp out of the box and I can't get enough of how sick that copper handle is. I can't wait until it's started to develop its patina. For it's $65 price, it wasn't bad. If I were to buy this knife again, I'd probably forego the copper handle - brings the price way down to something worthwhile. If this is what you want, I'd recommend it.

Good Knife, Heavy (if that's what you're looking for)
I by no means am a knife person, I was simply looking for something more durable and substantial than a box-cutter. This fits the bill, and I have been pleasantly surprised at how long the blade has maintained it's edge.
