This in intriguing and highly specialized. I am curious: why use this product over a mobile phone camera and eye-dropper tool? I'll search for reviews and more explanation, but there are some experts here on Massdrop, so let's leverage the community. As a hobbyist intrigued by technology I like this tool, but I see a simpler solution in my back pocket. :)

@stowbari - Thanks for the explanation. The self-contained illumination is the key here. I imagine there could be a peripheral device made for a mobile phone that could achieve the same results as this. I do enjoy the simplicity of this product though.

We've continued to coordinate with our warehouse team regarding fulfillment of the group's order and they've let us know that a receiving error delayed the ability to inventory and repackage these units as quickly as originally expected. We will remain in close touch and update the group as soon as everything is resolved and individual packages are en route to each of you.

The shipment has arrived. After a minor UPS delay, the group's bulk order landed at our warehouse in New Jersey and our team has been hard at work breaking down the shipment into the individual packages. As soon as everything is prepared for shipment and packages are picked up by the courier we will be sure to let the group know right away!

While the group's order is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey now, we've just learned that a minor UPS delay has prevented the shipment from arriving as early as originally anticipated. Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 7/21.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Palette Cube Portable Color Digitizer and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 7/25.
