DBX 376 Tube Mic Preamp

I didn't mean to come across condescending, sorry if it came off that way. I'm a big fan of the DBX 376, but I can understand if others may feel differently about the product. ( I maintain that it is a parametric, however, overly simplified and heavily parred-down in control and functionality) Are there any other really well-respected preamps with a more complex parametric equalizer that you think the community would be interested to see on Massdrop? We're always on the lookout for great products to offer our members, so if you've got a couple in mind I'll see what I can do. Syzygy is making a factual, well-supported claim, and your response does not address this claim at all. You rely on marketing material (do I really have spell out why that's not good support?) and then simply state (twice), but give no evidence or support, that "it is a parametric." You have, in essence, told us all to just trust you and take your word for it. Sorry, you haven't earned that, and then there's the inherent conflict of interest angle. You are representing a business who is asking for our money, so, no, I won't simply trust you and take your word for it. I'm sorry if that offends you; it would be a more lovely world if that's how commerce actually worked, but it's not, and it doesn't. I will state once more, you have provided no meaningful evidence to refute or even address Syzygy's claim, however you did manage to come off as more than a little condescending.

I'm sorry, but that is incorrect. Just because the manual claims that there is a 3 band parametric does not mean it is true, the manual is wrong! Even still, this unit doesn't even have the sweepable high/low shelves, so it's a stretch.
