Product Description
We got our hands on the MW07 GO earphones from Master & Dynamic—and we gave them the legendary Godspeed treatment. Introducing the MW07 Godspeed: top-notch true-wireless earphones in an exclusive colorway.
#39 here arrived earlier than expected. I already have the standard mw07 go but the unique colorway on these and back to the original stainless steel case makes this worth as a collection or everyday use for those who don’t own a pair yet.
Great sound, decent fit, love the colorway and design.
Pairing was as easy as any other Bluetooth device, and it handles being paired to different devices just fine. Sound is fantastic (a huge step up from my 1st gen AirPods) The bass is quite nice and not overdone, and it handles mids and highs really well. Haven't tried calling anyone with these just yet, will update once I do. The buttons on the earphones are comfortable to press, don't hurt your ears, and work well (The pause feature takes a hot second to register though) I had to switch between wingtips and ear tips until I found a pairing that was comfortable but once I did, the earphones sealed really well and tuned out the background. Not as well as noise-cancelling but what you'd expect from a good seal — you could listen to these at a comfortable volume in a noisy place. They don't fall out of my ears even if I shake my head around, but only if I have the wingtips on. Obviously love the colorway and the case is nice as well, has a good weight to it and isn't a fingerprint magnet. It is a bit finicky to open but the lid is solid and won't accidentally open. The earphones are held magnetically, so they won't fall out either.
Sadly, the right earphone is the one connecting to the device, and it relays everything to the left, so if your right earphone is dead or you don't want to use it, you'll have to keep it in your pocket or something so its on and able to connect your left earphone to your device. The right earphone is also the only one with microphones in it.
Excellent in a lot of ways, some small QOL issues.
Connection quality is great, sound quality is great, build quality is great. It doesn't pair quite as fast as some of my other true wireless pairs, but it's not ridiculously slow. Over all, a very good pair, probably one of my favorites. However, there are some things I think can be improved that would make it easier to use. The case lid is a bit hard to open, the magnets are really strong and due to the lip, requires you to slide a nail under it to pry it open. The IEMs themselves are a bit hard to remove from the case, there's very little room to get your finger in and pull it out, the angle it inserts into the case doesn't help either. Last thing - the wing tips are very secure, but can hurt after a while. YMMV, everyone has different ears.
Over all, It's great if you want a quality pair of true wireless IEMs. Colorway might not be for everyone, however.
Firstly, there is no doubt that the sound qualities in these are excellent for its size. Whilst you may find feature-richer earphones at probably cheaper price points during these sales season, you should know what you are getting these for. These are light, no frills headsets with sturdy construction aimed to be as mobile as possible and it does that pairs incredibly well. The connection hold steady and hardly breaks.
I just got it today and went for a 30 minute jog and never once felt that it would remotely had the opportunity to fall off. Aesthetics-wise you'd hate it or like it. But my wife (and myself) loved it for its unique colorway. It is very fun and beats those overly futuristic, try-hard design.
Surely, the MD MW07 Go Godspeeds are a great addition for those with a busy lifestyle. The carrying case is an incredible piece of design. Next to my wife's Sony wireless headset, the case is 30% to 35% smaller. The aluminium finish is truly something to behold with snappy, secure lids. I have no doubt it will stand rough handling and the test of time.
I've spent a long time deciding to get this. And when it arrived, I have to say that I have no regrets.
Number 24/150 by the way. To those who are wondering, the serial numbers are issued in random.
I'm a really big fan of these! They're light in the ear, block out a lot of background noise so you can really appreciate the sound quality coming through, and the battery life is pretty good for my use. Unfortunately for me, I can't seem to find a combination of the size adjustment between the ear tip, and the sizing piece, that fits my ear quite right. I definitely recommend them to someone who wants an excellent pair of iems, that also knows their ears better than I do!
Good and clean and stable Bluetooth range as I have many Bluetooth devices that can cause interference. I personally find them quite comfortable even with the wing attached. Finally the sound although subjective is perfect for me I would say quite similar to MW07 Plus obviously with out the ANC. Overall nice punchy bass that is not boomy and clear treble that is crisp and sharp with out being sibilant and fatiguing. Well worth the price both design and function. Being a limited edition production makes deal even sweeter.
They are very uncomfortable, they make your ears hurt and give you a headache. I did give let my dad try it out, they fit him fine, I just can not find a good eartip/wingtip combination that works for me.
