I wanted a Steins;Gate clock and it fit the mark

Still happy with my purchase despite some of the build quality qualms like other people have mentioned. Its purpose is to look nice sitting on my desk, which it does. I don't play on moving it or touching it very often so I'm not too disappointed by the buttons not feeling super great or unit as a whole being pretty light. Figuring out the controls was pretty easy after a few seconds, but it would have been nice if the instructions were also translated in English. I can't say much about the software experience as my preferred watch-face was the the nixie tube version.

Actual product does not match description here

The product comes w/ 2 themes out of the box (retro and diy). Also the instructions are in Chinese which is suboptimal for customers in the US. Also, requiring additional software download to configure this device is both onerous and sketchy. And finally, Drop makes this item not eligible for refund. Apparently this is from a 3rd party seller (don't know what that means, or why this website doesn't make it more apparent what items are sold by 1st party vs 3rd party).

Nice to look at but lacks quality and usability

First unboxing the clock and I was taken by surprise at how small it was, even though the size is fine for a desk. The build quality was also a disappointment as the unit is very light and hollow. It gets accidently knocked around a lot and is at the mercy of the usb cable you use. As for the functionality, it tells time and not much else, which is fine. But out the box, it never mentioned anywhere the place to find the software or that you need one in the first place to change themes. KeebMonkey support was helpful and sent me guidance on getting the software to work (use an rear mobo port, not a front i/o). See other reviews as they have the links needed. Not sure how to change the software to English though. TLDR: Overpriced, but neat desk piece to look at and has the time handy. Don't plan on moving it around or fiddling with themes too often.

It's OK. Build quality lacking, software mediocre, but functions

When I got this clock, half the face buttons were detached, probably because they rattled out during shipping. The buttons are very loosely held in. The clock overall feels light, plasticky, and just cheap. I got 2 spikes and 3 rubber paddings included in my box, not sure what they are for. If they are for holding up the clock, 2 is not enough. The driver software is a bit fishy, not because it's not in English, but because it's asking to install a driver you get off a random website on the internet. I looked at the INF file and there is nothing suspicious there, but I can't say the same about the executables. The software is a bit confusing if you don't speak Chinese, but fortunately there's not too many buttons to try out. One button is for uploading your custom images, another is to flash your clockface, and then the dropdown menu is to select the device to flash to. The device that it defaults to doesn't work for me, I had to go through the list of potential device and eventually I found one that started the flashing process. The progress of flashing never gets to 100% for me, but it always has worked despite that. I wish you can have a background that stretches across the entire clockface rather than individual images, but for a fun display it gets the job done. This should have been cheaper. The build quality and software does not reflect the price. The upside is that once set up, it does look nice but unfortunately everything else is a let-down.

Way lower quality than the price and pictures suggest

I'm a sucker for desktop gizmos and trinkets. I figured an IPS homage to nixie tube clocks would be a neat little addition. I got really suckered on this one. The build quality is truly atrocious. The box and packaging are fairly nice, but once you get to the hardware it all starts to stumble. The buttons are loose and rattle-y, and cannot be tightened without full disassembly. And even fully tightened, they're still extremely loose and feel unpleasant. The displays are very bright, and cannot be dimmed or adjusted. Surprisingly, the software is pretty straightforward and fairly easy to use. The included faces leave a little to be desired, but the instructions are easy to follow and make your own. The clock can only hold two faces at a time, which was a disappointment. Honestly, skip this one.

Incredibly terrible

This is not worth the money. The buttons jiggle.... I don't understand how, but they do. The body is made out of very cheap plastic as well. When it arrived, one of the buttons was not attached, resulting in one of the windows getting scratched up. I was excited for this but really regret my purchase.

Lacks quality and finish; a complete disappointment

Very cheaply made. Fasteners and buttons both rattle. Glue residue and some scratches on the body. Software works okay and it functions, but it is not as nicely made or premium feeling as the price and photos suggest. I have to agree with other reviewers here. I usually trust drop but this is the last time I do any preorder on anything that doesn't have reviews.

Scratched up with no instructions

Just on the exterior, straight from the box, the plastic housing around the buttons were scratched, and the plastic surrounding the screens were scratched up and nicked. Either everything is very soft plastic, or QC is close to none. To further that point, the buttons are also misaligned and not installed in a straight line. You get next to nothing helpful from the box. There's an overview of the clock in only chinese, and there's also a small bag that includes brass cones and white pads. What might you need these cones for? Instructions won't tell you. You either have to be a stellar guesser or follow the companies TikTok account. In one of their videos, they show the brass cones are actually legs for a stand. Just attach them to the bottom of the clock, away from the center of the clock a bit closer towards the clock face. This will cause the clock to lean backwards and be more visible. The screens are bright and clear, but I have not found a way to dim the screens. I hope someone corrects me on this point. Default out of the box, the two themes you get are the Nixie Tubes and the flipping clock. Hope you like them. Best of luck figuring out which driver to download to change these themes because I either can't access the driver links or they don't work. Cool idea, but this is not worth the money
