I think the Amazon 29.95 are the wired ones The wireless show as 59 or 99 today!
Why Focal wireless? Why not? Ever tried to haul around a pair of full size Focal speakers while commuting? A good pair of wired ear phones is easily $100, so if you can get quality, wireless and nice design for $29?
Was disappointed by the wire quality and the monitors didn't stay in my ears well despite trying different ear-tip sizes. The Bluetooth pairing process was a hassle because the included documentation was poor. It took multiple attempts to pair with my phone.
After finally pairing, the sound quality was decent from my non-audiophile perspective.
I don't recommend these. And this is difficult for me to say because I'm a fan of Focal's sound signature (I own the Clear, Elear, Elegia, and Elex in addition to the Sphear S). These were not well designed--one side is heavier than the other, making it for a cumbersome fit. In addition, the drivers are not very good and the sound tends to become very muddy with "busy" music (fast Electronica or even Metal). The Sphear S are a better buy but a bit more expensive... and even they aren't that good either. I guess Focal has some work to do as far as IEMs are concerned.
Nothing special, unfortunately. It's OK, I guess, but I wouldn't spend my money on the Sphear S again. With all of Focal's recent releases, I'm hoping they have a high end IEM in the not-so-distant future.
