About Fox River
Born in 1900 in the Fox River Valley of Appleton, Wisconsin, Fox River got its start making socks, mittens, and gloves for hunters, fishermen, and lumberjacks. In the early ‘60s, the company moved its headquarters to Osage, Iowa, and expanded its product line using state-of-the-art equipment, progressive designs, and advancements in fiber technology. Fox River has been owned and operated by the Lessard family since 1975. Still made in the USA, Fox River products can be found in outdoor stores worldwide.
