Just a warning. These have been known to actively seek out and assassinate your router. I wish I was joking. I mean, it's still kinda funny, but also they spy on you and send your info back to google. Which is less funny. Unless your version of humor is uncomfortably specific advertising every time you go on the internet.
In all seriousness, putting one of these in your home means that google now has a microphone in your house that is always on, and that they have as much or more control over than you. Google has lied about their data collection many times before, and I am sure they will be caught lying about it again.

fhoodI trust these devices, and Google, 100000x more than I trust Amazon or Apple, to do the right thing with the data and how it's used etc. Also, if you have a smartphone, than you already have an always on microphone that's listening do you anyways. If you have facebook on that phone it's even worse.

Couple notes.
- It's no longer called the Google Home Hub. It's now the Google Nest Hub.
- Reg retail is not $149, it's $129.
- There is currently a promo on this product for $79 across all retailers.

why did mine come from Walmart? I showed up today and I opened up the box and in the lower left corner it has the Walmart inventory label on it. ( how do I know that I work for Walmart :( . ) they say vendors in description, so on this site it could be any body? and the shipping label was from some lady in Florida. is this how this site works? new to it and trying to understand. I thought the items was coming from company's not individuals? will check back later to see if I get a response.
