Where's the price?

Because of tax (CA resident), it needs to at least reach the second drop level to make any sense for me to purchase, but I'm quite interested.
Good to see Grant Fidelity weigh in – but full disclosure would be that while the Dac-11 never sold for $200 it never sold for $400 plus either. For the last couple years until about a month ago it’s always been $350 including US shipping. Dacs that are a few years old go down in price, not up. Seems like the 50 level buy at $316.11 (with US shipping) should have been the starting point to attract interest.

Will there be an option for the black faceplate?
Grant Fidelity has a Calgary showroom, which is where I imagine Darmock got that price. Otherwise, it's only sold through Yulong in Hong Kong, according to Ian Grant's blog - "All products listed at Grant Fidelity website are sold through our Calgary showroom or our webstore only. We do not sell our products through retail outlets." http://grantfidelity.com/site/where_to_buy. Also see the front page top and under Helpful Tips (side) about Ian's health, which has been in bad shape for some time: http://grantfidelity.com/site/blog/14. Hopefully, he's now finally coming through ok.
Forums: -Head-fi forums has a GF TubeDac thread that is of some use, especially in the first half, with Ian participating early on. http://www.head-fi.org/t/603086/review-grant-fidelity-tubedac-11. - http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=385504
Tube Rolling thread w/ Ian's recommended tub spreadsheet linked**** http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=439184 (highly recommend "Russian Rocket" - made a big difference in already good tube sound. Maybe one or two are better, depending on system needs, but others have become high priced)

Note: I use the TubeDac-11 in a 2.0 TV system, running Audioengine A5+, and it's worked very well there, and there have been no switching problems between components. Any system with the TubeDac deserves good power cords and ICs, at minimum.

No one ever got DAC-11 for $200 price - we cannot even buy from factory at that price in wholesale of hundreds of units at a time. Some people might mixed it up with DAC-09 which was an older model with less than satisfactory quality so we switched to Yulong to produce the new model DAC-11 with much higher quality parts and design.
FYI people. this DAC was (and probably still is) available in Canada for something like $200. I should know, I bought one brand new for that price.
DARMOK
Where?
DARMOK
it has never been sold for $200. The 2009 model was sold around $200 but quality level is quite different.
Hi there, can you tell me how to choose the sliver plate one? I don't see any that kind of options. thank you.

You should probably email MassDrop staff directly so they can arrange the order, if possible.
As an owner of a Tube Dac-11 for several months, this is one of the best dacs that's been offered here, and certainly at the price. Very good sound. Even better by swapping out the (single) tube for one of the suggested ones (there's a spreadsheet on a Grant Fidelity forum thread). The inexpensive "Russian Rocket" is very good.
P.S. See my post below for forum and review and tube links.
