BTW: Where us our "community " for artist materials / mediums, hmmm? (Not arts and crafts). A place where our various fine art areas are supported? I am NOT trying to be a snob here, but the supplies for the fine artist and fine craftsman tend to be wholly different from art classroom materials or hobby needs. This has been a requested community for a long time. I keep looking for it to appear, but could only vote once in favor of it.
It seems like whoever curated this doesn't understand artist needs very well and assumed more is better. Having convenient colors to work with is nice, but you don't need over 50% of your colors to be convenience. We're also no longer in an age where gouache is actively used in most design work, so beyond the selective hobbyist who might feel the itch to collect the entire range or a beginner making a naive, splurgy purchase, there's no reason for most people to purchase this set.
The price per tube is okay... not cheap, but not terrible. However as a whole, it's inaccessible to me. A well selected 12 or 24 colour set is really all most artists need.

Agreed. The 84-set is more for collecting rather than art production. I'm surprised the 18-color set that was on here previously wasn't renewed and instead this was brought in. 18 is already extremely sufficient in range. 84 is excessive and extremely unaffordable to most.
