Dear Massdrop, Forget rockets to Mars; this HyperChiller is the greatest invention of the 21st Century! I kid you not. I got a plastic jug that had 350mls (12ozs) marked on the side (we do metric down here), then from our coffee machine I put in one caffe lungo and one espresso which brought up the level leaving room for a dash of milk. I added a little sugar and stirred. I poured the coffee into the HyperChiller and timed it to 60 seconds, exactly. I poured the now icy cold coffee into a large glass and added a small dollop of French vanilla ice-cream. To say this iced coffee was perfect is a gross understatement! It was heavenly! Happily the drop is still open so I'm getting myself another at this bargain price. Of course, the next best invention would be a bigger version of the HyperChiller so I can do a whole pot of tea for iced tea without all the sugar that restaurants put in their iced tea even if you don't want it: Lewis Black please take note. (He always complains about iced tea being too sweet.) Thank you Massdrop and HyperChiller! This truly is a fantastic product. Great product , I use a coffee press 220 degrees to start then pour the hot coffe right into the hyper chiller
i like 2 swirl at least 2 1/2 minutes for the richest non watered down just brewed coffe then I add to a glass of ice and now you get chilled
iced coffee Bliss,I like straight black coffee any way you make it,your iced coffee is sure to be the best tasting.

Works ok, does turn hot drinks cold, but not to ice cold, only fridge cold. And it only works once, the second drink doesn't get that cold anymore, you'll have to refreeze it again.

These things are awesome. I now have the V1 and the V2 and both do a great job. They take up a fair amount of space in the fridge and can only handle one serving at a time so if you want more you're going to have to get a second unit. I use this thing every morning without any issues - would definitely recommend!

This thing is awesome!! I brewed my hot coffee and poured it in, swirled it for a minute and it was as cold as an iced coffee! I keep it in the freezer and it's ready every morning.

It's good, but not amazing.
It gets thing cold, especially for beverages that aren't extremely hot. It doesn't bring freshly brewed, very hot coffee down to room temperature incredibly well, but it mostly does the job after a little bit longer than you'd expect. However it is great for room temperature things you'd like to chill very quickly such as white wine.
