I got in contact with support, they said my package may have been lost in transit and issued a full refund. Unfortunately I'd advise y'all do the same.
Massdrop sent an email saying jaybird at the beginning wanted to be the only ones fulfilling the order. Yeh they sell other businesses their product. In return they both make money. No matter what you say. $30,000 is a lot of money to not be making. However. They could have put a cap on this drop so that was their fault. No matter what. This sucks. For everyone.
We've continued to be in contact with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've informed us that fulfillment has taken slightly longer than originally expected. We are currently awaiting confirmation of shipment from our vendor and will update the group as soon as they get back to us.

PeterKDo you really feel that it is justifiable towards your customers that they have to wait this long, when the relative prices of competitors is more or less the same? Massdrop is getting ridiculous. It's not that I don't think you are doing what you can, but it might not be enough. If this continues, I'm not sure I see a market for you guys..
PeterKI think as the "steward" of our coagulated order, Massdrop should demand a reduced price in light of the delay (this is how ANY business works) and then pass 100% of those savings onto the purchasers.
For drops in the past we've always dealt with a reseller who has fulfilled our orders without issue. At the bequest of Jaybird and on the pretense of working together we stopped using resellers for this drop. After weeks of back and forth working on the details of this drop and proceeding without incidence, Jaybird has decided to stop replying to all our attempts at communication and is currently showing no signs that they will respond to us or follow through on fulfilling this order.
As soon as we received the news, we contacted our other vendors in an effort to source this unit. Unfortunately, no one was able to accommodate our request.
Rather than hope that communications finally resume, we are issuing refunds to everyone involved and apologize for the unprofessional manner in which this has been handled by Jaybird.

ahhhhh the wait..... The 2 beef i have with massdrop. the waits (wait for drop to come around, wait for drop to end, wait for massdrop to receive the products, wait for massdrop to ship, wait for delivery.... phew) and the shipping cost.
Got mine, and 100% can say not new and almost sure that these where returned for some reason. There is build from use on control and charging port. My gut says money thrown away. Sad for first and only buy.
woolynuffEmail support. Massdrop has always resolved issues like this to my satisfaction. Had a similar issue on this drop and very happy with the solution they offered.
woolynuffHave a similar issue with buildup on the filters, in the cracks of the plastic and worst of all on the foam tips. The wear makes it seem like the previous owner used these down to the last day of the guaranteed period before returning. Did anyone get a nice pair?
Edit: As dgt5 mentioned, the staff was very helpful when I showed them pictures of what I received. Despite being my first issue with a drop, my impression of massdrop has only gone up.
Received half my order, the one I got is clearly used. The foam tips are unused but the unit itself has gunk/buildup all over. Massdrop marketed these as "B-stock", not used / refurbished items.
