I DEEPLY REGRET BUYING THIS WATCH
1. When I put it in the watch winder I also bought from massdrop (Wolf Cub Single Watch Winder), it starts skipping forward in time. For example, if I leave it in the watch winder overnight, it will have jumped forward about 10 minutes past the current time. I do not experience this jump in time when using it normally.
2. Their website advertises the watch as having a 38 hour power reserve. When I manually wind the watch to its limit, I get AT MOST 24 hours of power until it stops ticking. This means I have to manually wind it every day, because putting it in a watch winder is not an option.
3. The watch is about 15-20 seconds fast every day. If you buy a watch that costs more than $1K, you expect a movement that keeps much better time than that.
4. As others have said, this watch face gets scratched fairly easily.
It's a beautiful watch, but for $1.3K, it's really disappointing to have to constantly be adjusting the time and winding it. Unfortunately I did not report this to Massdrop within the 30 day warranty period and now I'm shit out of luck.
Have you received your Junghans Meisters yet? Are you happy with your purchase? I am crazy about these watches and hope the Meister with small seconds becomes available on MD.
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Junghans Meister Dress Watches and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 1/23.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 1/9.

Actually I appreciate MD adding this Meister drop. I got into Junghans w/the Max Bill (like most of you) but now I like the Meister line up more as it has a modern updated look that still gives you the retro feel. Personal taste. The price is also reasonable if this is what you're looking for.
The plexi crystal is so love/hate for me. I love the look and lightness but hate having to baby the watch knowing that the crystal can scratch at any time. I wear my Hesalite Speedmaster far less than I'd like for that reason.
