Kershaw isn’t known for its fixed blades, but with a such a great reputation for folding knives, it’s not a wonder the company is moving into other areas. The Camp 10 machete is an outright beast for clearing brush, making kindling, chopping wood, and slashing weeds Read More
Cheaper elsewhere. Amazon, Walmart, BladeHQ, KnivesShipFree, etc. Just Google it and you will find it cheaper and in most cases shipped free. WTF MassDrop?
these things are literally $5 cheaper for instant delivery from bladehq
... so yeah, I'm done with md, it's always without exception not a good deal anymore
hope they get their act together
These machetes are awesome. They're super sharp from the factory and hold up to a ton of abuse. I've passed through wrist thick branches in one swipe (albeit with the 18, not the 10). The steel resharpens easily. These make any kind of brush and branch clearing a cinch. The handle is super grippy and the sheath is fantastic. They are a really high quality item. When most folks around me are taking their Christmas trees to special disposal yards, I just whip out my machete and bust it down into my compost bin.
Does anybody know how this steel compares to 1055?

Morrowind54265Mn were originally used to produce a majority of bayonets for the AK47. These are incredibly tough and doesn't suffer from discolourisation and corrosion like the 1055 does.
Good budget machete but too expensive to ship it to Australia.
