Hold up.. it has a 3.5" blade but weighs in at 5.3oz.. that's gotta be a typo or this knife is heavy af. The unwritten rule is an ounce an inch generally speaking. Personally I stay away from any folder over 4oz. But hey if stuffing a brick in your pocket is your thing knock yourself out.. at least this one is a pretty brick.

akapabsDifferent designs are going to be different weights, I think for a knife of this size it is definitely overweight, but only by three quarters of an ounce or so. Internal milling and thinner blade stock would make all the difference, but it isn't that far outside the realm of ordinary for a large all-metal knife with a comfortable handle. I've got a Rike/HX Outdoors ZD-006 that is the same weight and 3.75", it is a substantial knife but it doesn't feel insane.

OmniseedYeah I'm gonna have to pass on this one.. I have plenty of titanium production knives that weigh in more reasonably. Unless it's an overbuilt custom folder.. I'm not gonna tolerate a knife that's over 5oz.. I need my EDC to be light. Fixed blades are a whole other story.. carrying heavier weight on my belt versus weighing my pocket down is very different and personally more acceptable. For EDC I'm mostly looking for 3" blades in the 3 oz range and everyday on massdrop I keep seeing more and more monster blades for office bros that never even use their knives. Hopefully more blades in my EDC range pop up here soon.
