Based on knifemaker Matt Degnan’s custom MC design, the Kizer Guru is small enough to comfortably carry anywhere, but stout enough to take on most anything. The 3-inch S35VN blade—arguably the best commercial steel available—measures 3.5 millimeters thick for strength Read More

Anyone else? Or did they over sell and only getting sent to some?
What is anyone else planning on doing? I seriously wanted the flipper model.
Guys....I'm stuck. Do I purchase this one, or the Lionsteel sr2 that just went up? Two very different knives, obviously, but I wanted to hear from my peers.
Also, aesthetics aside, is there any benefit or drawbacks between the skeletonized handle and the solid version? Can't decide which looks better.
Are you planning on dropping the Kizer Laconico Gemini any time soon? If so, are you going to offer the left handed version as one of the options?
Thanks.
I’d buy a sebenza 21 at this price point too. But alas I don’t have that option (not even on massdrop). An the Sebenza is timeless but modern manufacturing is easily matching the tolerances that were once tough to match. The hand finishing is definitely the difference now.
DamCamTo be fair, CRK's manufacturing tolerances are still well out of reach at the price point of this drop. That's not to knock this Kizer, or other knives at this price point, just to point out that it isn't cheap to machine to 1/10,000 of an inch.
Guru arrived today. I have to say that I am blown away with this knife at the price point. Action is smooooooth and the fit an finish is many levels above the price. I do think that the drilled version is much cooler than the slab!
Holy hell... Never thought I'd see a Guru hit! I need in on this one! Really regrerting not getting the Velox 2, but this is not possible for me to pass on.
I owned the thumbstud and flipper versions, both sans holes.
The flipper is more popular -- and that's the one the thief stole.
At this price, I'm considering getting a replacement -- these are both terrific designs.

Don’t let the wife see you call her that 🤣
I’m kidding, of course. Actual thievery is unsettling, beyond the material loss. Hopefully it wasn’t a big setback for you.
This drop is an amazing value, I agree with you on that! I hope to see more Kizers on here. Would be seriously tempted by a Feist, or other svelt designs :)
Wow im surprise how popular this model is compared to the other ongoing massdrop kizer deals. 87 purchases in 1 day! Really interested to know why. Is it because of its smaller size?
massdrop01This is a great size and the ergos are really nice. The blade is a really nice all around shape. The blade is a little on the hefty side, but that makes open and close with authority. Nice milled clip too!
I'm in.
Surprised to hear that many prefer Flipper to thumbstuds. I enjoy the feel and action when using thumbstuds. Either way, this is a great deal. Enjoy!
