I own this flashlight, purchased from Amazon a few months ago at a higher price than either one listed here.
It amazes me how well LED technology has advanced, and the amount of light that can be put out from a relatively small, durable unit like this. It does get hot when using in Turbo mode, so you can't run it that way for too long, but you shouldn't need to. The lowest-output mode (forget what they call it...moonlight probably) is more than fine for getting around in the dark woods, backyard, or basement and it sips batteries at that output.
It has a couple different modes of operation, and the instructions for switching between are easy to forget if you don't do it regularly. I leave mine in the one mode that's most useful to me and it's all good.
This is the first light I've owned with the magnetic charger and it works great along with the colored LED ring around the connection to let you know the charge level.
The double switch on the end cap is easy to tell one switch from the other even with gloves on, and it's very well made. It works great and can also be used with disposable CR123 batteries in place of the included rechargeable batteries.

Does this light do well with momentary switching? Meaning, can I depress the switch partially and get light without clicking it fully on? I prefer the ability to program it for momentary only, but not many flashlights have that option.

I saw this and thought it was the same model I owned, but it isn't (mine is the XT11GT). Even though I can't speak to this particular model, I will say (because it uses the exact same "shell," with the only difference being that the place you attach power is just a button on mine, and mine has a water-resistant rubber flap covering for a microUSB jack instead) that Klarus's flashlights in this style certainly come in handy more often than you might think.
My only real gripe is that I wish I could reposition the belt clip near to the head of the light facing in the opposite direction. That would actually make it so that I could clip it to one of the pocket flaps on my cargo pants/shorts to be able to use it "hands free" to light my path when I'm trying to take out the garbage late at night (when my procrastination finally breaks down). Other than that, I find myself using it on at least a weekly basis, and I only have to charge it once every couple of months (though, I did purchase a chipped, higher-capacity 18650). I never really have to use the 2000lumen max brightness, either... generally it is set to the second-lowest of four settings, so in retrospect this 1300lu model would have been enough for my purposes.
If I had need of another backup flashlight, I would join this drop.

It says this drop is limited to 75 units, but I see 83 are already sold as I’m posting this comment. Is the 75 unit limit incorrect? I’d like to get in on this drop, but I have no desire to pay for something and then be told “sorry, too many” and have to go through hoops to get my money back.

DSpeedMassdrop keeps a running tally of total units sold all-time, so this has probably been "dropped" once before. My guess is that it will probably be sold out at 150units.

I don't own one of these yet, but I'm sorely tempted. This has all the things you want in a *true* tactical flashlight:
- A separate, dedicated strobe switch;
- A crenelated cap for striking;
- At least 800 lumen brightness;
- Syringe ring;
- LED bulb.
The other stuff like programmable interface and recharge without a bulky stand is icing on the cake. If I didn't already own a couple of flashlights, including the very good TT4-EX from Terralux, I'd add this to my collection ASAP, but I just can't justify it at the moment.

Khai2591I own the PD35 and it’s a good light. The head on the PD35 is about the same diameter as the body, whereas with this light the head is rather larger. This light is significantly brighter, will probably (based on the size of the reflector) have a tighter hotspot (more throw, less flood) compared to the PD35, and uses a pair of tailcap switches for on/off/mode switches, where the PD35 uses a tailcap switch for on/off and a side switch for mode changes.
I’ve been very happy with my other Klarus lights and I don’t yet have one at this level of output, so I’m in this drop.

I don’t get the trend of these magnetic rechargeable lights. Just slap USB C on it and call it a day, FFS. Now people that buy your lights will have to go out and buy extra proprietary magnetic chargers instead of using the cables they already have.
