Known for its high-end, handcrafted wood pens, Lanier is offering an equally detailed and elegant display case to match. The seven-pen case is made of birchwood, while the 24-pen case is made of sapele wood, and both have a rosewood-stained finish Read More
JwhuffmanThe issue is that the black trays or lining on the inside must have slipped or moved during shipping and its in the way of the drawer opening. Just slip is thin blade or knife inside the top part of the opening to and push down the black trays so that clear the area.
Hi, I ordered two 24-pen display cases. Unfortunately, one arrived with the glass broken. I emailed to seek assistance but have not had a response. Can you kindly assist? Thanks.
My 24-pen case arrived yesterday (about a week earlier than I expected it). I like it! The metal hinges are set into the wood neatly. The pen slots are wide enough to easily fit a Sailor 1911 Large. The wood is not particularly thick or heavy, but for the price I think it's fine.
I may order another one if/when it drops again.
P.S.
I do wish it came with some sort of a locking system.
The 24-pen case has larger dimension slots. I am wondering if it would be usable for my pen-knife collection. If anyone has experience with the 24: is there enough vertical clearance for knives? Or to the Lanier rep: do you manufacture a knife-display case?
AxeguyThanks for your question. Your not the first MD customer to ask for a knife chest.
Would you mind making a rough drawing with diminisions so we can come up with something.

thanks
" Both displays have high-quality stainless steel hinges that are bleated with bright brass. "
I'm assuming this is supposed to be "plated?" I don't think sheep can "bleat" stainless steel with brass. But hey I could be wrong.
