Designed to connect to your TV, phone, and other Bluetooth devices, the LG SK8Y 2.1-channel wireless soundbar creates an immersive home audio experience. It relies on Dolby Atmos technology to produce a 360-degree moving sound, as well as a Hi-Res audio chip that processes higher sampling rates and bit depth to deliver more accurate sounds Read More
Is the HDMI passthrough 4k HDR compliant? Or are there any ways to preserve Atmos/4k/HDR between an Apple TV 4k, Samsung 6 Series TV, and the sound bar?
I got my soundbar delivered today, have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed. Had high hopes from LG. My Yamaha YAS-207 has a RMS of 200 watts and its louder with deeper bass than the LG with a total RMS of 360 W.
Even after increasing the bass to full on the LG app it's half as loud as the Yamaha.
Agreed that manufacturers conn unaware consumers using technical jargon like PMPO for sound equipment although in this case as mentioned above Yas207 has a RMS of 200 watts compared to 360 watts for the L. Let alone being louder than the Yamaha it isn't even as loud as the Yamaha with a puny 200 watts RMS.
ParaservAlthough I don't own one, from reading the description i'm certain it does support Spotify Connect (considering chrome caste built in)
"With Google Assistant and Chromecast built in, you can stream music, find answers on Google Search, manage your calendar, and control other smart devices using your voice. "
Is the Chromecast that is included built in, is it 4k chromecast or standard chromecast? they sell two kinds... if not the 4k one I will need to pass on this.
JohnnyMaSorry, already shipped it back to mass drop and got a refund as well.
The return was hassle free and got the money credited back within a week.
This drop is somewhat frustrating! Right now this sound bar is on sale for $200 over on buydig. Sucks that we aren’t able to cancel orders as soon as that drop closes I thought I was getting a deal but instead am getting burned.
Dammit, should have picked it up then would have been delivered by now.
Any idea about the input voltage on this thing?
Will it work with 220 V or do we need a step down transformer?
sarangtI am not sure to be honest I just plugged it right into my wall and it works fine. But if you are interested in it just keep an eye on BuyDig, this and the models above it have gone on sale multiple times over the last month For cheaper than it was on here.
