Waterproof Pouches Keep Gear Dry
The SplashSak Mapcase and Navigator are heavy pouches designed to carry your maps, compass, cell phone, and other gear while keeping them protected from rain, mud, dust, and spills. Both measure 12 by 12 inches with a zipper closure on top, and have an adjustable shoulder/waist strap so you can remain hands-free. In addition, both are equipped with safety hooks in case you prefer to attach it to your backpack so it doesn’t fly away as you take off on your motorcycle or boat. The Mapcase is made of clear plastic for its front and back with webbing loops at its corners. Velcro attachments near the loops allow you to fold the case in half. The Navigator has a clear plastic front and a durable 420-denier black nylon back. This version was developed for military special forces to help eliminate glare in tactical situations.
