I've bought a few pairs of the KOSS KSC75 (same drivers as these, different form factor) over the past 12 years since they came out. For the money, you absolutely cannot beat the sound quality/clarity! I had one side fail on one pair after use and abuse over years, but I'd yanked them hard by accident a bunch of times, so it's expected. But they do last!

ShnikeJSBKsc75's have slightly different (ie less bassy) drivers than the portapro/sportapro/ksc35's, but "yeah" to everything else you said!

waynesworldAgreed, i have a pair of ksc75's and there's very very little bass. I much prefer the porta pro sound.
