Fwiw i got mine a day earlier than expected and I used these on my lz a4 with practically no issues. I did have call audio drift from left to right once but otherwise no issues so far
Is the silver-plated option just for aesthetics? Is the cable stronger, or is the extra ten bucks just for show?

According to the description-
The high-fidelity silver-plated cable uses 99.99-percent pure copper to ensure the richest detail retrieval and best overall performance with high-end audio systems.
Do these have to be worn over the ear ?

I don't think so. I got the mic version for my Shure 215s and the cable does not have a wire in it to mold around your ear despite what the curve in the photos might suggest. The cable has no rigidity to it, but it goes over my ear just fine and could go elsewhere if needed. I don't have mine on me at the moment to confirm but I believe my memory is correct.
Hello, in the pictures, the non-mic and mic version have to be swapped around :)
Anyone else already having drop outs? It seems like the connection on the right side is loose at the connector.

Have you tried spinning the connector, or cleaning cable and headphone MMCX sides with alcohol?
Ah that's a shame. Was looking for their balanced 2.5mm cable.
does anyone know any good cables for the massdrop nuforce earbuds
I've been using this cable (with remote version) since October and I really like it. It's thick, braided, and looks really awesome. Also, it's a bit heavier than your average cable, so when you wear it over-ear, its weight helps the cable stay at its place, which is very convenient.
Your photos for the stereo and mic cable are switched.
Am I the only one who wanted a TRS 2.5mm balanced option?
Gigaify
They offer it on their website or elsewhere. It's pricey ($99) but comes with adapters for 3.5mm TRS/TRRS and 4.4mm. I picked up a 2.5mm to XLR for mine to round it al out. I've had mine for a while and it's a quality cable.
Does the "seamless control of phone calls and music playback" include volume or is that not counted as control? ;)
Martinic
it doesn't incude volume controls
Available on amazon for $29.99 (mic version, ME7 pro version). So, probably not a terrific deal, if you have amazon prime.

Yeah, that cable is cheaper in this drop

Thanks for clarifying, am thinking of getting an MMCX replacement for my JVC wood series original cable because it's a tad bit flimsy even though they are braided.
