Hmm... Mega Nanodot... so if I remember my SI prefixes right, these would be milidots?

i have to say that i am a bit disappoint from the mega nanodots was trying to create a cube from 27 of them and it is much more harder than if i used the normal nano dots (and trying to create with 64 of them) the magnet is alot less strong than the original nanodots
mistakenly dropped it on the floor and they just rolled every where which mean i lost about 7 of them when this happen
was hoping for something else partly my fault not reading more about them
I'm sorry to hear that you lost 7 of your Mega Nanodots!? There isn’t a sure fire way to retrieve lost Nanodots, but if you discover one then certainly let me know!
FYI, Mega Nanodots aren't made from the same materials as the "normal" Nanodots. Nanodots (5mm) are magnet spheres precision-milled from sintered Neodymium-Iron-Boron, whereas the MEGA Nanodots (15mm) are made from military grade ceramic ferrite. They have similar but naturally different properties. This was done intentionally, Nano created MEGA to be like magnetized marbles. You can use them to play games or invent your own creations. You can build simple geometric structures., but if you're looking to build complex creations, we definitely recommend Nanodots (5mm).
Hi I'm pretty interested in these but I'm wondering i use to own some if the old Buckey balls. And I used them often but the finish started to flake on them. Is it possible for that to happen on these as well?
They're electroplated, so no, they will not flake. The surface of Nanodots is similar to jewelry like a watch band, wedding ring, necklace etc. In short, @White.Rabbit hit the nail on the dot, "it's a treatment of the metal to create the color instead of an actual coating." Please let me know when you receive them, it would be great to see a few pictures once you've got them out of the box!
We can create some videos on other structures that you can build with Mega Nanodots. I know this is on the agenda for www.dotpedia.com in the near future, so stay tuned. Mega Nanodots are created using Military Grade Ceramic Ferrite so they naturally, have different properties than their little brother, our 5mm Neodymium Nanodots.
Hi everyone! Please keep us posted on the safe arrival of your MEGA Nanodots. Happy Friday the 13th! No joke here though, seriously, everyone should be getting their shipments soon if you haven't already.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Massdrop Community Support. My name is Gwen, and I would be happy to help. The bulk order is in the warehouse preparing the individual orders for shipment. This typically takes the warehouse 3-5 days to finish and send to the courier.
That being said, our warehouse is currently dealing with a back log of orders for a couple very large drops that are set to ship. This is causing an additional 4-5 day delay in shipping out these orders. I do apologize for the delay, but rest assured they will be sent to the courier as soon as possible.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Best,
