Mercer Brigadier Automatic Watch

While this is a nice watch, there was just a drop for the Mercer Voyager a week ago which is almost the same as this. Massdrop needs to get different brands. It's always the same brands constantly. Victorinox, seiko, orient, mercer, panzera, glycine, for the most part. Some more variety would be much appreciated.

I'm sure Massdrop acts as a bit of a clearing house for brands that otherwise (in Mercer's case) might not sell a lot.

These watches are a tad expensive for a startup IMO - even with the discount.

Oh ok, I thought I saw it for 250, made the comment, then literally less than an hour later saw it for 199.99. At that price I joined for 2, one blue one white. Will make great gifts.

Does this movement support hacking seconds and hand-winding? (I can personally live without hacking seconds, because I don't bother with such fine accuracy with these mechanical watches, but I definitely want hand-winding.)

There's a lot to like about this watch, but I'm not a fan of 42mm sports watches that aren't divers. I'd love to see this in a 40mm, or better yet, a 38mm size.

Got the white one last time. Few notes after wearing it for few months: Lugs are too long, and springbar sits to deep. Once on the wrist, if the wrist is on the smaller side, strap bends according to wrist shape, and lugs start to stick out. Really odd looking. Also every surface that has 90 degree edge, has SHARP 90 degree, sometimes the feel is like it can cut my fingers. This is especially true on the lugs. Overall size is a shade to big, if this this was sized like Alpinist or Cocktail Time it would be perfect. Don't get me wrong, I like it, and I do not regret buying it.

After wearing it for a few months I have few remarks about this watch. Lugs are to long, and springbar sits to deep inside, if you have smaller wrist, lugs are sticking out. If it was a trifle smaller, would be perfect .
